In Diepenbeek a competition is being organised for a community centre with a mix of programmes. Multipurpose rooms, meeting rooms and a prayer room. The plan is built around the foyer that serves as the organiser of the entire structure. The plan contains no corridors but only a circuit of rooms and poché spaces. With our appearance, we wish to enter into a dialogue with the history of the environment. To incorporate and reinterpret the variety of typologies offered by the built-up Flemish landscape in order to achieve a nuanced continuation of what is already there. Our project seeks to be public and collective without imposing its presence in the environment.
