A radical renovation. The existing rear building is being replaced by a new double-height curtain wall. The dark single-family dwelling makes space for light throughout the house via the double-height dining room with first floor office space. The vide connects the office part with the dining and cooking space and affords a view over the back of the building block. The attic level was raised to create more space and the bathroom completely renovated. The use of materials can be felt throughout the entire home. A subtle transition between light use of colour, light and dark wood accents in combination with brass. The Mediterranean-inspired garden, divided into four rectangles of which two green rooms and two terraces.
