A single-family house that was in need of renovation and expansion. The plan, conceived as "pochés". Outdoor spaces that shape indoor spaces and vice versa. This creates a relationship between the natural vegetation outside and the use of natural materials, a combination of concrete and wood, inside. The concept of dividing the plan into an indoor and an outdoor room is continued by dividing the new interior into a lower seating area and higher dining and cooking space. In this way, each room has its own identity and specificity, subtly linked to one another. The concrete awning provides a natural sun screen and gives the new annexation a coherence and a visual architectural refinement.
