Aurlandsfjörd — Noorwegen

De site bevindt zich nabij de Aurlandsfjörd, gelegen in de Noorse provincie Vestland. De hier ontworpen eengezinswoning gaat op in de vallei en vertrapt parallel aan zijn berghelling. De woning telt in totaal vier bouwlagen. Door de helling zijn de eerste en de vierde respectievelijk van de valleikant en de bergkant ontsloten. Op de bovenste verdieping wordt het uitzicht op de fjörd gekaderd en daardoor versterkt.

The site is located near the Aurlandsfjörd, in the Norwegian province of Vestland. The single-family house designed here blends into the valley and steps parallel to its mountainside. The house has four floors in total. Due to the slope, the first and fourth are accessed from the valley side and the mountain side respectively. On the top floor, the view of the fjord is framed and thus enhanced.
